The one that got away

  Îi pasă, a văzut debusolarea şi durerea din ochii tăi, te ştie, mai bine decât te ştii tu însuţi. Te-a sunat câteva zile la rând, şi acum s-a oferit să te conducă la muncă. Este un gentilom, mereu a fost, mereu ai ştiut asta, dar cumva sentimentele tale pentru el s-au dizolvat, pentru că ai fost convinsă că meriţi mai mult. Ai cunoscut câteva persoane, te-ai simţit plină de viaţă, dar acum îl vrei înapoi, pentru că ştii că el mereu te-a iubit, sincer, însă mai ştii că nu eşti egoistă, aşa că-l ţii departe de tine.
  Ochii lui în dimineaţa aceasta, îmbrăţişările lui din ultimele zile, ai vrea ca toate astea să nu se mai termine.. Viaţa nu este o poveste cu sfârşit frumos şi nu este corectă, însă este al naibi de frumoasă. Undeva adânc în sinea ta, ştii că el este "cel care ţi-a scăpat printre degete". Avem o singură dragoste adevărată, un singur suflet cu care 99% ne potrivim, aşa că nu da cu piciorul din simplă curiozitate, doar pentru că ai vrea să vezi ce are de oferit această viaţă "imorală". Tu nu regreţi ce a fost, dar regreţi ceea ce ar fi putut să fie.

  He cares, he saw the pain and the desolation from your eyes, he knows you better than you know yourself. He called you a few days in a row, and now he offered to take you to work. He is a gentleman, he always was, you always knew it, but somehow you lost the feelings for him, because you said you deserve more. You've meet some people, you felt alive, and now you want him back, but you know it's because he always loved you, and you know you aren't a selfies person, so you're kipping him far away from you.
  His eyes in this morning, his hugs from these last days, you wish they'll never end.. Life is not a fairy tail, is not fair but still is so damn great. Somewhere deep within you know that he's the one that got away. We have one true love, one soul that fits ours, so don't miss that chance because you are too curious to see what this "immoral" life has to offer. You don't regret what it was, but you do regret what could've been.
